The Power of Consistency: Charlotte’s Success Story

We've all heard it said that consistency is the key to success.

Ironically, consistency can be hard to stick to when life gets busy - days stretch out of our control, schedules quickly become unmanageable, and usually the first thing that we sacrifice to make time is our health and wellness habits.

But did you know that your good health is actually what allows you to function at your best when life gets tumultuous? Without dedicating time to our physical health, we are putting ourselves on the back foot for when times get hard.

And when our clients believe in the power of consistency, the results always show!

Take Charlotte, for example.

Charlotte has been training with our founder and coach, David, for over 10 years, and has always had a passion for running.

Over the last few year, the combination of an increasingly busy work life, plus the responsibilities of caring for two young children (both under 5), has made finding time for her running a challenge.

Alongside an ever growing work and home schedule, injury concerns also meant that the ability to consistently have running built into her week became near impossible.

Despite this, Charlotte never let her health be anything but a top priority!

Charlotte showed incredible commitment to her goals, and despite her hectic schedule she remained focussed on her hope of returning to running.

By working through home-based rehab, a detailed return-to-running plan guided by her coach David, and remaining consistent in both her 1:1 personal training sessions and additional open gym programs, Charlotte has had her most successful running year since she began tracking in 2013!

With more total runs this past year than ever before (78 runs vs previous best of 67), and the longest run completed since pre children (6.5km and building!), Charlottes dedication to get back to her much loved running has been a joy to see!

Check out what Charlotte recently had to say about her training!

We are so impressed by what Charlotte has been able to achieve through her hard work, and we can't wait to see her continued success!
