Finding a Partner in Accountability - David’s Success Story

When working towards our health and fitness goals, sometimes the biggest roadblock is the most simple one - having the accountability to get it done.

Regardless of how much we want to put the work in, without the right support network, making progress can often feel like a herculean task.

David originally came to us because he wanted a partner in movement and health, to provide the consistency and planning he needed on his health and fitness journey.

His biggest goal was to set himself up physically for the next 20 years and beyond - an aspiration shared by many of our clients.

David had the ambition, but his biggest challenge had been having little to no structure when managing his own workouts.

Alongside this, he felt like he was battling his weight, and past/present niggles that would hinder him day-to-day.

With the guidance and support of his coach, David worked towards his goals by increasing his general strength and capacity, challenging his body progressively with more range of motion, and introducing movements that required him to apply speed (ie jumps or slams).

The biggest piece of the puzzle was the shared effort to ensure David hit at least 2 sessions a week.

Since then, David has had some truly incredible results. He has got his weight down by 17kg, and seen improvements across every single one of his strength markers.

The improvement in mobility and energy have made is day-to-day life much easier, and reduced the frustrations of consistent aches and pain.

This freedom has also given him the energy and ability to engage in more activity outside his gym sessions, like regular walking, golf, and swimming.
